Failure Factors Facing Organizations in Post-Disaster Housing Reconstruction Projects in Gaza Strip- Juniper Publishers
Civil Engineering Research Journal- Juniper Publishers Abstract Purpose: Post-disaster housing reconstruction projects are considered complex and complicated projects in nature which in turn represents many challenges because it is unlike routine construction. Clarifying failure factors facing organizations in post-disaster housing reconstruction is essential to ensure success in reconstruction projects. The study aimed to identify and rank the main failure factors that organizations experienced in post-disaster housing reconstruction projects. Design/methodology/approach: The quantitative approach was adopted; a structured questionnaire is used to collect the data from a purposive sample. 115 copies questionnaires were distributed to experts’ engineers who worked in the previous post-disaster housing reconstruction projects in Gaza Strip and 105 copies were received from the respondents with a response rate = 91.30%.
